You’ve always persevered through life’s challenges, so why does it feel now like you just can’t handle one more thing?
The only thing constant is change.
But instead you find yourself second guessing all of your decisions. Or maybe just the idea of change is so incredibly daunting and intolerable. You find yourself floundering in your relationships, not able to communicate your needs and wants, making change feel impossible. How can things be different, when the experiences you are having, are already so lacking in joy? You used to have such confidence and now it’s so hard to say no, causing you to feel overworked and underappreciated. You feel drained, overwhelmed, and all you want is a better work/life/you balance that provides meaning and purpose so you can move confidently into the future.

So, what does therapy look like?
We’ll start with a brief consultation to make sure we seem like a good fit for each other. Your first appointment will be a 1 hour assessment that gives me a good background on your needs and an opportunity for us to collaborate on a good direction to take. Feel free to ask as many questions as you’d like along the way! From there, we will meet either weekly or every other week for around 45-50 minutes, depending on your preference and severity of need. We may discuss homework options along the way, but don’t worry, they’re not graded and I won’t be sad if your dog eats them. Length of therapy really varies for everyone, but please know that my goal is to give you tools for the next steps in your journey. I encourage all little birdies to fly free and I am just as excited to see you applying all the hard work you’ve done as you are!
